he Society of Astrologers is dedicated to the
revival, study and practice of the authentic philosophy, astrology and astrological
techniques of medival, Renaissance and Early Modern Europe. The Society
is guided by an Advisory Board of eminent
traditional astrologers and operates, as much as possible, through consultation
and consensus. In order to reduce politics to a minimum, the Society has no officers
and no elections, membership is free and the Society does not hold any funds.
Larger projects and the day to day work of the Society are accomplished by volunteers.
By joining
the Society you can support the revival of Medieval, Renaissance and
Early Modern astrology, interact online with other traditional astrologers
through the
Society Network
and receive information on traditional astrology
courses, books and other resources, stay informed about
lectures and conferences
and access the Society Journal.
Please Contact the Society for more information.
The Society of Astrologers is open to
all astrologers and students of astrology, but provides a safe haven for
traditional astrology by limiting all
Society activities, including discussion groups, publications, lectures and conferences,
to astrological techniques in use between 1200 and 1700 in Europe. Practicing members
of the Society, who must have demonstrated mastery of traditional technique, are the
acknowledged elite of traditional astrology and listed in the the Society's
Member Directory.
