he Society of Astrologers is dedicated to the revival, study and practice of the authentic philosophy, astrology and astrological techniques of medival, Renaissance and Early Modern Europe. The Society is governed by its Syndics, who supervise the Steward of the Society, currently Christopher Warnock, Esq. The Steward of the Society is responsible for the day to day operations of the Society in the tradition of Elias Ashmole, Esq., Steward of our predecessor Society of Astrologers. Membership is free and the Society does not hold any funds. Larger projects and the day to day work of the Society are accomplished by volunteers.
By joining the Society you can support the revival of Medieval, Renaissance and Early Modern astrology, interact online with other traditional astrologers through the Society Network. Please Contact the Society for more information.
The Society of Astrologers is open to all astrologers and students of astrology, but provides a safe haven for traditional astrology by limiting all Society activities, including discussion groups, publications, lectures and conferences, to astrological techniques in use between 1200 and 1700 in Europe. The Society is committed to tolerance and comity among all members. So long as members use traditional methods of astrology they are welcome in the Society. Practicing Members, graduates of approved traditional astrology courses and Master Astrologers of the Society, the elite of traditional astrology, who must have demonstrated mastery of traditional technique, are listed in the the Society's Member Directory.
